Yugoslavia - 1936

Yugoslavia was represented by 17 competitors, and apart from cross country, its athletes took part in the Alpine skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined for the first time. The best-ranking athlete was Franc Smolej with the 10th place in the 50km, and the men’s 4 x 10km relay team repeated the same ranking. Those rankings were bettered only in 1968.
