Yugoslavia participated in the Chamonix Games with four representatives
in cross country. Its best-ranking athlete was Švigelj with the 32nd
place in the 18km, 36 minutes behind the winner; Kajzelj ranked 34th,
Zinaja 36th, and Pandaković dropped out. In the 50km both Pandaković and
Švigelj pulled out, while Zinaja crossed the finish line after more than
nine hours but was left without an official ranking as the judges had
left the finish hours earlier.
