SUBJECT: 2008 IOC TROPHY “SPORT AND YOUTH”

To Whom It May Concern:

The International Olympic Committee informed us of the availability of the traditional IOC Trophy given annually to the NOCs.

The 2008 Trophy entitled “Sport and Youth” is given to the NOCs to be awarded to an individual or an institution of the NOC’s choice that excelled in promotion and development of sports and educational programmes concerning Olympism and intended for the young people. The young are very important to the IOC that seeks to recognise national and/or international initiatives promoting Olympic values among the young.

With this in mind, we would kindly ask you to nominate an individual or an institution for this Trophy and with an accompanying explanation deliver it to the NOC SRB no later than 1 December 2008.
