Yugoslavia - 1936

Yugoslavia participated in the Berlin Games with 86 athletes in 11 sports: athletics, cycling, water polo, gymnastics, rowing, sailing, canoe/kayak, fencing, swimming, wrestling and diving.
The only medal was won by gymnast Leon Štukelj, who ranked second in the rings. Štukelj finished his Olympic career in Berlin with a total of six medals – three golds, one silver and two bronzes.
This feat won him the title of the most successful Yugoslav Olympian of all time.
Yugoslavia ranked 27th on the list of medal-winning nations.
