Signing of a contract between the NOC SRB and Microsoft Software Ltd

Today, a signing ceremony of a contract between the Olympic Committee of Serbia and Microsoft Software Ltd. was held at the Old Palace. The contract regulates the creation of a modern information system called “OKSIS” designed to meet the needs of the Olympic Committee of Serbia.
This system will consist of a network of users on different levels of organisation of Serbian sport.
Prior to the contract-signing, Branislav Jevtić, the OCS sports director, and Miloš Trkulja, Microsoft Software Ltd public sales manager, addressed the gathering and presented the facts concerning the needs for an information system such as “OKSIS” and its possibilities.

Following the act of signing, Vladan Živanović, Microsoft Software Ltd. general manager and Ivan Ćurković, the OCS president, gave their speeches. Ivan Ćurković pointed out that:
- Sport integrated Serbia into the international sports movement. Further place and role of Serbia in this system is conditioned, amongst other things, by development and application of modern information technologies. That is why we have decided to create “OKSIS”. The international presentation of Serbia via “OKSIS” is practically unlimited. By virtue of its place in the Olympic Committee of Serbia, “OKSIS” is envisaged as a public tool available to all sports, social and state institutions. “OKSIS” will reach its full capacity only through unity of all the stakeholders of Serbian society, which is why I am inviting you all to become a part of that synergy and New age of Serbian sport.
